Send Stuffs To Your Friends
Pownce can serve as a micro blogging platform that aims to give users the ease of sending stuffs like messages, links, files, and event reminder to a network of friends. It can also serve as a social network. 
Pownce will prove useful to people who are frustrated trying to send stuff from one cube to another. You can create and assign your contacts in a group and do a one time sending to a group of people.
I like Pownce’s personal page though customization is currently limited to four themes. The not so good news however is that Pownce currently have no badges (though there is a WordPress plugin that displays your public messages to your blog), and registration is still by invitation.
