All You Need To Know About, “Ronito, Ronita!”
“Ronito, Ronita!” is adapted from Monito/Monita.
Monito Monita is a traditional Filipino Christmas gift giving activity among friends, colleagues, and peers. Rules may vary depending on what was agreed upon. The identity of the giver is withheld from his Monito/Monita (the person who will be given a gift, monito if male and monita if female) until the set time of “revelation”.
The goal of this activity is to foster camaraderie and to be acquainted with other bloggers we have still not met. This will be done as participants will be assigned a blogger whom he has to send a wish or a prayer on Christmas via E-cards.
POSSIBLE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
[01] Why do we have to encourage for volunteers when we can just tag for participants?
Because this tag requires more commitment from the usual tags. We do not want to include unwilling people who might fail to send his assigned Monito an E-card for Christmas.
[02] Why do we have to wait for Christmas to send the cards when we already have the details of our Monito by the 17th?
This is to allow you time to get to know your Monito a little more and be able to send him a more appropriate prayer/wish for Christmas.
[03] What if no one committed to join under my name? Will I still receive an E-card for Christmas?
Yes, you will still receive an E-card for Christmas provided that you have filled up and sent your details on the form.
[04] Can I ask several bloggers to tag me since I have several blogs as well?
Sadly, no. We are counting bloggers here and not blog participant. However, you can post it to your other blogs so you can have a better chance of recruiting participants and grow your forward list.
