Create Your Blog Now!

Though two of my websites are now powered by Wordpress, I still have a high respect for the cool people behind Blogger. If it were not for their user friendly interface, I might not be able to last this long in blogging. Though I also had some difficulties in tweaking their template code, almost all you need is readily made available by Blogger.

Blogger is a blog publishing system now owned by Google. Personally, between Blogger and Wordpress, I’ll choose the former as far as free hosted domains are concerned. Blogger allows users to fully customized their theme. Plus, there are a lot of page elements that can be added and rearranging is as easy as click-and-drag. Also worth citing is the ability to upload images directly from the interface and it will automatically be hosted in Blogger’s image hosting partner. Ain’t that cool?

A word of caution however, I am hearing that even though Blogger is owned by Google, which is primarily a search engine, the contents of the blogs are mostly not indexed by the main search engine, but only by the more specialized “Blog Search” feature.

If it’s cool, interesting, and useful… you’ll see it on WebSights.

I realise that most Blogger bloggers eventually switch to Wordpress. I have too, but I’m still grateful to Blogger for giving me my start.

i think blogger is really good for those just starting because you need not worry on where to host your pictures and how to put addons in your sidebar. anyone can easily do it.

i decided to switch from blogger to wordpress.com previously but i eventually returned to blogger because of several concerns. if one should switch from blogger to wordpress, it is best that they go self-hosted.

thanks for dropping by LEON. you got good stuffs in your blog. i hope WebSights could serve your interest. have a great day!
