When Hair Starts Falling Down

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

There are people who prefer straight hairs and some who want otherwise. Each party takes their best effort in order to attain their desired look. However, I think balding is a more serious problem because with this, you’ll have no more hair to dress.

The hair is a person’s crowning glory. There is no doubt about that. That is why most people would prefer to keep it than lose it. However, there are some, especially in men, who grows old balding. I guess when nature takes its course; no herbal or natural solution can be taken in order to stop it unless one resorts to hair transplants.

Also, I think it goes with the genes. Baldness runs in the blood of some family. In our case, I really don’t have a relative that is totally bald but I see my uncles having a diminishing hair from the center of their head. In my part, if such case happens to me and I do have the resources, I wouldn’t mind undergoing medical treatment.

Auto Buying

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

When my friend decided to buy a car, his family had a difference in opinion. His sister, whom she describes to be like their dad who prefers second hand and cheap items, suggested that he just buy a pre-owned car like those of San Diego Hondas.

However, his mom, who believes that it is better to buy brand new things because it’ll save you the hassle of maintenance, suggested that he goes for a new one.

I, on the other hand, thought that it is better to go on a “buy and sell” business. While the car is still unsold, you can use it for your own service. Otherwise, you’ll be earning decent cash.

My friend listened to his mom. Well, as the saying goes, “mother knows best”. But I guess when it comes to things like cars, not all moms can give a sound advice. The key here is you should know your capacity to pay and weigh the benefits of every option.

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

I wanted to stop list to the 100th participant but seeing the bloggers’ reaction to the tag made me decide to continue it up to… let’s say, to the next 100. However, instead of posting a thumbnail of their desktop, I’ll just be placing a text link to their post following the sequence of how I noticed their blog.

Again, I would like to acknowledge Jeprocks for creating the big fat spy guy in the banner. My gratitude also goes out to all the bloggers who were willing enough to let us peek in to their desktops.

Below is the last 100 My Desktop Free View participants that I will be listing.
